Metropolitan Ioannis of Zambia and Mozambique met with the President and Member of the International Olympic Committee, Spyros Kapralos, and the Secretary-General, Manolis Kolympadis, to discuss the establishment of an Olympic Museum and exhibition in the capital of Zambia, Lusaka.
Accompanying the Metropolitan were Socrates Papageorgiou, a physician and Professor of Neurology and Neuropsychology at the First Neurology Clinic of the University of Athens at the Aiginiteio University Hospital, a member of the friends of the Olympic Museum Foundation, and Georgios Jelilis, who participated in the events organized by the Metropolitanate for the Olympic Games and the Olympic spirit alongside gold medalist Athanasia Tzoumeleka.
The Metropolitan conveyed the best wishes and blessings of Pope and Patriarch Theodore II of Alexandria and All Africa, for the completion of this important project, which is set to take place in the coming months.
