Yesterday morning at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Metropolitan Ioannis of Zambia and Mozambique and Dimitris Loukas, President of the Hellenic-Zambian Chamber of Commerce, met with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Greece, Harry Theocharis.
During the meeting, issues related to promoting Greek businesses abroad and the potential for developing investment initiatives in Zambia were discussed.
Particular attention was given to the prospects of the Zambian market and the opportunities emerging for Greek enterprises in sectors of economic activity with strong growth potential.
Additionally, preparations for the business forum scheduled for May 25 to 28, 2026, in Lusaka were examined. The forum aims to strengthen economic relations between Greece and Zambia and to foster collaborations between business and institutional actors from both countries.
The meeting took place in an exceptionally positive atmosphere, reaffirming the shared interest in enhancing economic and business cooperation between Greece and Zambia.
