President of the Hellenic Republic Konstantinos Tasoulas received Metropolitan Gabriel of Nea Ionia, Philadelphia, Iraklio and Chalkidona on Monday, September 7, 2026.
During the meeting, Metropolitan Gabriel briefed the Greek President on matters concerning the Metropolis and its activities.
The Metropolitan also presented Tasoulas with an invitation to attend celebrations scheduled to take place in Nea Ionia in November, marking the official launch of the “Ionian Center.”
The President thanked Metropolitan Gabriel for the invitation and accepted it.
The Ionian Center is a new initiative of the Metropolis of Nea Ionia, Philadelphia, Iraklio and Chalkidona, with its official launch scheduled for November.
