Metropolitan Gabriel of Nea Ionia provided advice to his faithful after the panic caused these days by false news and misinformation about the new coronavirus outbreak.
In his message, Metropolitan Gabriel urged the believers not to be affected by fake news and excesses that “spread much faster than the coronavirus” but to listen to the experts and follow their advice.
“This outbreak is now but another trial,” said the Metropolitan of Nea Ionia, and that is why we need to be dispassionate, united and faithful. All we need is faith and trust in the Lord and in Our Lady, especially this time of her Rejoicings (Chairetismoi).
