Metropolitan Ierotheos of Nafpaktos and Agios Vlasios, who represented Archbishop Ieronymos of Athens, has been vaccinated in Evangelismos Hospital, as reported by ert.gr. The Metropolitan of Nafpaktos is the first hierarch to be vaccinated against the COVID-19 in Greece.
It is reminded that today, shortly after 14:00, the President of the Hellenic Republic, Katerina Sakellaropoulou, was vaccinated. The president arrived at Evangelismos Hospital where she was welcomed by Minister of Health Vassilis Kikilias. After following the procedure defined by the protocol, she was vaccinated, while she will remain in the hospital for the necessary period for security reasons.
“This is an important day for all of us, today we can be optimistic,” said Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis upon his arriving at Attikon Hospital, where he was vaccinated against COVID-19 shortly after 14:00.
The prime minister was welcomed by the Secretary of Primary Care of the Ministry of Health, Marios Themistokleous, and was accompanied by Professor Sotiris Tsiodras.
After the vaccination against COVID-19 of the prime minister, the professor of Pathology and Infectious Diseases, Sotiris Tsiodras, was vaccinated.
