The Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew warmly welcomed with brotherly love Metropolitan Epifaniy of Kyiv and All Ukraine at the Phanar today, August 13, 2024.
Metropolitan Yevstratiy of Bila Tserkva and other associates accompanied Metropolitan Epifaniy.
The Ecumenical Patriarch also cordially received an official delegation from the State of Ukraine, led by Mrs. Olena Kovalska, Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, along with Mr. Viktor Yelensky, Head of the State Service for Ethnic Affairs and Freedom of Conscience, Mr. Vasyl Bodnar, Ukrainian Ambassador in Ankara, and Mr. Roman Nedilskyi, Consul General of Ukraine in Constantinople, accompanied by his deputy, Mr. Andriy Boyko.
During the private meetings, Metropolitan Emmanuel of Chalcedon, Grand Ecclesiarch Aetios, Director of the Patriarchal Private Office, and Patriarchal Deacon Epifaniy Kamyanovich, who served as translator, were also present.
At noon, the Ecumenical Patriarch hosted a luncheon in honor of the distinguished guests of the Mother Church at the Patriarchal Municipal School of Marasli.
