Dear Brothers and Sisters!
The second day of the unprecedented aggressive attack against Ukraine continues. Our whole Nation, but especially the courageous armed forces and defenders of Ukraine continue to defend and resistance against our enemy.
The Russian attack has brought with it shooting, bombing, murder and death. Our soldiers and innocent citizens are dying. Hundreds of thousands if not already a few million have become forced refugees.
I am reaching out to the religious and government leaders of the free world – Ukraine needs all of your help and support. Every weakening or lack of sanctions against the aggressor, every reluctance or reduction in the types of help that you provide our country — leads to additional suffering and lives lost. ACT NOW!
We remember in our prayers those that have perished and ask God to give rest and place their souls among the righteous. We ask for health for those injured and God’s protection for all those need it at these hours.
In these dark times, turn your attention to those around you, support interaction, help each other conquer your fears. Every action of help, humanity, charity and care – is also a contribution to the victory of good over evil.
Ukraine has withstood the first wave of destruction, but the enemy continues its sinful acts, just as Cain, as a murderer he wishes to strangle our freedom and our existence. Therefore, it is our common responsibility to protect ourselves and future for the next generations. While realizing that this is not that easy, I am convinced that with God’s help the Ukrainian Nation will prevail.
I continue to perform the responsibilities placed on me and will attempt to communicate with you daily. Also, for all of you and especially those who are defending us, I raise my prayers.
May God Bless the Ukrainian Nation with peace and victory!
