Metropolitan Epifaniy of Kyiv shared a spiritual reflection on social media, drawing inspiration from the example of the Apostle Thomas and emphasizing the importance of sincere faith and openness to divine truth.
In his message, the Metropolitan encouraged the faithful to remember the lesson offered by the Apostle Thomas, noting that the path to salvation requires a genuine desire to know God’s truth. He stressed that believers should remain open to this truth not only with their minds, but also with their hearts and souls.
He further explained that such openness should not be limited to hearing the truth, but must also lead to living in accordance with it. Referring to the life of the Apostle Thomas, he pointed out that true faith is expressed through witness, just as the Apostle proclaimed that Christ is truly risen and is the true God and Savior.
Metropolitan Epifaniy concluded by urging the faithful to respond to God’s outstretched hand with faith, encouraging them to reach out in return and hold firmly to the Lord through a living and authentic relationship with Him.
