Metropolitan Epifaniy of Kyiv and All Ukraine expressed condolences over the repose in the Lord of Patriarch Irinej of Serbia.
As he said through his personal account on social media, “I learned with sadness about the repose in the Lord of the Primate of the Serbian Orthodox Church, Patriarch Irinej.
May the Lord rest his soul, may His providence inspire the Serbian Orthodox Church in choosing a worthy successor to the throne of St. Sava. Kingdom of Heaven to our late brother.”
