Metropolitan Epifaniy of Kyiv and All Ukraine met on March 14, 2025, at his residence with servicemen of the Separate Presidential Brigade named after Hetman Bohdan Khmelnytsky.
The meeting was also attended by the brigade’s military chaplain, Archpriest Andriy Hul.
The Primate of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine congratulated the Ukrainian soldiers on the 3rd anniversary of the brigade’s formation and the 25th anniversary of the military unit. He expressed his gratitude for their dedicated service and wished them strength and God’s assistance in their challenging mission of defending their homeland.
Additionally, His Beatitude presented ecclesiastical awards to the chaplain and servicemen of the unit.
