A Supplication Canon to the Saints of Thessalonica, Saints Cyril and Methodius was performed in the crypt of the ancient Roman Basilica of Saint Clement, where the tomb of Saint Cyril is located.
Metropolitan Polycarp of Italy presided over the Divine Liturgy, with the participation of the Hierarchical Head of Rome and the other clergy of the Metropolis in Rome.
The event was organized by the Embassy of Greece in the Vatican and was attended by Ambassadors and other diplomats, in addition to the Holy See and representatives of the Secretariat of the Vatican State.
