Metropolitan Iakovos of Ireland announced a significant meeting with the newly appointed Ambassador of Greece to Ireland, Mr. Stylianos Stylianopoulos, through social media.
The Metropolitan shared: “I had the opportunity and honor to meet with the Ambassador of Greece, Mr. Stylianopoulos, who has recently assumed his duties, representing Greece in the beautiful country of Ireland! We had the chance to discuss matters concerning the Greek community in Ireland.”
Following the meeting, the Metropolitan mentioned a collaborative luncheon that included the participation of the Ambassador of the Republic of Cyprus, Mr. Telemachos. During the luncheon, topics of mutual interest were discussed, further enhancing communication and cooperation between the two communities.
The meeting and subsequent discussions signify a strengthened relationship and shared commitment to addressing the needs of the Greek and Cypriot communities in Ireland.
