The inauguration of the Church of Saint Paisios the Athonite took place solemnly at the 117th Combat Wing of Andravida Air Base.
Metropolitan Germanos of Ilia presided over the inauguration ceremony in the presence of the priests of the Holy Metropolis.
He thanked the Commanders of both 117th Combat Wing as well as the the Air Force’s Air Tactics Center of Andravida for their excellent cooperation demonstrated during the construction work of the Holy Temple.
The Church of St. Paisios the Athonite is a donation of the Metropolis of Ilia.
