Patriarch John X of Antioch and All the East, received Metropolitan Ignatius Al-Houshi of France, Western and Southern Europe, at the Patriarchal Residency in Balamand.
Metropolitan Ignatius expressed his condolences for the martyrs of the massacre at St. Elias Church in Doueila–Damascus, affirming that the blood of these martyrs cries out to the conscience and heart of all humanity. He also conveyed his solidarity with Patriarch John X during these critical times, condemning this act which targets all the components of the East and aims to undermine the coexistence among all its components.
