On Tuesday August 19th, the Metropolitan of Chicago had lunch and visited with the Seniors Groups of St. Mary’s in Minneapolis and St. George’s in St. Paul. The gathering included approximately 80 members of the more seasoned parishioners of our Twin Cities parishes, which share a wonderful history.
The program included beautiful piano and vocal performances by Michael and Demi McCollar, the children of Danny and Lani McCollar, of St. Mary’s.
The Metropolitan expressed his thanks and appreciation for the past, current, and future offerings of time, talent, and treasure of our beloved grandparents generation to our parishes and our Metropolis.
