On August 12, 2024, Metropolitan Irinej of Bačka met with Miloš Vučević, Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia, in a cordial and open discussion.
During their meeting, the Metropolitan and the Prime Minister exchanged views on the implementation of religious education in Serbia, as well as other significant issues affecting both the state and the Church.
The conversation highlighted their mutual interest in advancing these critical areas of public and ecclesiastical life.
