On Sunday, September 26, Metropolitan Arsenios of Austria, Exarch of Hungary and Central Europe visited the Holy Monastery of Agia Skepi of the Most Holy Theotokos and Agios Paisios in St. Andrä am Zicksee on the Feast Day of the Agia Skepi.
The monastic community and numerous visitors welcomed Metropolitan Arsenios and his entourage.
He then presided over the solemn Divine Liturgy, accompanied by the Archimandrite and Abbot of the Holy Monastery Paisios Jung, Father Aristides, and Archdeacon Maximos Rugyko.
In his Sermon, Metropolitan Arsenios referred to St. John the Theologian, who was celebrated on September 26, who claimed to be named by the Lord the Son of the Theotokos and stressed the bond of Love that dominates the work and texts of the Evangelist.
Metropolitan Arsenios called the congregation to deepen with prayer this divine breath of Love that the world needs today more than ever.
The Metropolitan of Austria wished the Abbot health and the blessings of the Lord especially during these hard times of the pandemic, as well as the monks to live in obedience and love, trying to experience daily the Love of God, following the example of Saint John the Theologian.
