On Sunday, January 11, 2026, the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew prayerfully attended the Divine Liturgy celebrated on the Sunday after Theophany. The service was presided over by the Metropolitan of Ankara, Gregory.
Also present at the Liturgy were the Metropolitans of Myra, Chrysostomos, and of Zambia and Mozambique, John, as well as the Mayor of Patmos, Nikitas Tsampalakis. Following the service, the Mayor was received in audience by the Ecumenical Patriarch.
A large number of faithful from Constantinople and abroad also attended the Divine Liturgy, participating in the prayerful atmosphere of the feast.
