In the course of the audience, Mayor Tsambalakis formally extended an invitation to the Ecumenical Patriarch to visit the Sacred Island of Patmos next September, on the occasion of the inauguration of the School’s renovated facilities.
The Ecumenical Patriarch expressed keen interest in the matters presented. The meeting took place in a warm and cordial atmosphere and concluded with the customary exchange of commemorative gifts. Following the audience, the guests were received at the Patriarchal Table.
