From May 14 to 16, 2025, Metropolitan Job of Pisidia visited Romania at the invitation of Patriarch Daniel of Romania to participate in the international theological symposium titled: “The First Ecumenical Council of Nicaea (325): The Orthodox Faith, the Foundation of Church Unity.”
The event was jointly organized by the Patriarchate of Romania and the Patriarch Justinian Faculty of Orthodox Theology at the University of Bucharest.
Metropolitan Job delivered a lecture on the topic: “The Council of Nicaea and the Common Celebration of Pascha.”
The symposium brought together Orthodox and Roman Catholic theologians from various universities in Romania, France, Germany, Greece, and Italy.
Organized on the occasion of the 1700th anniversary of the First Ecumenical Council (325), this symposium formed part of the events marking the centenary of the Patriarchate of Romania (1925–2025).
