Metropolitan Ioannis of Zambia and Mozambique was admitted urgently in the early hours of today to the International Hospital of Zambia in Lusaka, according to an official announcement from the Holy Metropolis.
The Metropolitan successfully underwent surgery to treat urethral strictures. Following the procedure, his condition has been reported as satisfactory, and he is recovering normally under medical supervision.
