Metropolitan Epifaniy of Kyiv and All Ukraine met with Mayor Vitali Klitschko on Monday, March 14, 2022.
The primate of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine discussed with the Mayor of the capital the issue of the protection of the city from the Russian invasion and the humanitarian situation.
“I am convinced that -and with the prayers to the Archangel Michael, Kyiv has spiritual protection.
Today all the inhabitants of Kyiv are praying, asking God for help, and God will surely protect our glorious capital, the city of Kyiv.
Together we will continue to face the enemy and victory will surely be on our side.
Therefore, may the Lord bless every inhabitant of Kyiv, give him strength, health and inspiration to continue to face the challenges he faces,” Metropolitan Epifaniy said.
