On the feast day of Saint John the Theologian, Apostle and Evangelist, September 26, 2025, Metropolitan Epiphaniy of Kyiv and All Ukraine presided over the Divine Liturgy in the academic church of the Kyiv Orthodox Theological Academy.
Concelebrating with the Primate of the Autocephalous Orthodox Church of Ukraine were Metropolitan Yevstratiy of Bila Tserkva, Archbishop Ahapit of Vyshhorod, Bishop Feohnost of Chernivtsi and Bukovyna, Bishop Yefrem of Vasylkiv, Bishop Avraamiy of Boryspil, the Rector of KOTA, Archpriest Yaroslav Romanchuk, representatives of OCU educational institutions, and invited clergy.
At the Little Entrance, His Beatitude awarded several clergy with ecclesiastical distinctions.
Following the Divine Liturgy and the procession, Metropolitan Epiphaniy took part in the Academy’s solemn academic ceremony, where he presented awards to faculty and students and delivered his primatial address.
