Metropolitan Epifaniy of Kyiv and All Ukraine attended an official reception on March 24, 2026, marking Greece’s National Day – Independence Day.
The Primate of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine was accompanied by Archpriest Vasyl Lylo and Archpriest Ivan Sydor.
During the event, the Metropolitan congratulated the Ambassador of Greece to Ukraine, Pantelis Alexandros Dimitrakopoulos, on the national holiday.
He also expressed gratitude to the people and the Greek government for their support of Ukraine amid the ongoing Russian aggression, and conveyed his wishes for the further strengthening of friendly relations between Ukraine and Greece.
