With deep sorrow, the Ecumenical Patriarchate announced the repose in the Lord of the late Metropolitan Chrysostomos of Rodostolos, a graduate of the Holy Theological School of Halki, which occurred today, Wednesday, October 1, 2025, on Mount Athos.
The funeral service will be celebrated at the Patriarchal and Stavropegial Monastery of the Great Lavra on Thursday, October 2, 2025, at 13:00.
The Ecumenical Patriarch and the Mother Church of Constantinople will be represented by Metropolitan Theoklitos of Ierissos, Mount Athos, and Ardameri, and the interment will take place at the cemetery of the aforementioned Holy Monastery.
