The celebration of St. Arsenios of Cappadocia in Austria was solemnly celebrated on the day Metropolitan Arsenios of Austria also celebrates his name day.
Metropolitan Arsenios officiated at the Matins and the archieratic Divine Liturgy, where he concelebrated with Metropolitan Paul of Drama, Bishop Paisios of Apameia and many priests traveling from Greece, Hungary and Austria.
Metropolitan Emmanuel of France also participated.
After the Divine Liturgy, Metropolitan Arsenios warmly thanked the participating clergy and the faithful.
A Byzantine choir sang at the Matins and the Divine Liturgy under protopsaltis Dimitrios Apostolakis, accompanied by hieropsaltes of the Metropolis of Austria and students of its School of Byzantine and Traditional Music, which has been operating since 2015.
In the end a reception in the parish hall was held where all the faithful had the opportunity to express their wishes to the celebrating Bishop.
