The 25-ton shipping container arriving in Ghana includes hundreds of items such as food, clothing, ecclesiastical supplies for our Orthodox parishes, educational materials, personal hygiene products, household goods, and medical equipment. This aid will be offered free of charge to support all the clergy and their families of the Metropolis of Accra, as well as our Ghanaian brothers and sisters in need, both in cities and villages.
The Metropolis of Accra said in a post: “We sincerely thank the Greek people for providing this invaluable assistance to the people of Ghana, as well as the “Orthodox Missionary Fraternity” of Thessaloniki, which coordinated the collection of this humanitarian aid and covered the shipping costs.
