The initiatives of Greek universities in education, research and innovation, the strengthening of the extroversion of higher education, the study programs offered by Greek universities to Diaspora Greeks and foreign students will be some of the topics that will be discussed during the virtual meeting on “Reinforcing bridges between Greek universities and Greek Diaspora.”
The meeting will take place on Sunday, January 24, 2021, at 14:30 (23:30 Canberra time), on the celebration of World Education Day and the 200th anniversary of the Greek Revolution of 1821. The event is organized by the General Secretariat of Higher Education of the Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs and the General Secretariat of Public Diplomacy and Greeks Abroad of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The meeting will be attended by government officials, representatives of the Church of the Greek Diaspora, university professors, Greek graduates of Greek universities who excel abroad, as well as representatives of Greek diaspora organizations.
