On January 14 and 15, 2025, the President of the Republic of Poland, Andrzej Duda, together with his wife, welcomed at the Presidential Palace representatives of Churches and religious communities, as well as national and ethnic minorities living in Poland. Additionally, they met with the heads of Diplomatic Missions accredited to the Republic of Poland.
President Duda mentioned that, throughout the centuries, various religious groups have coexisted peacefully on the lands of Poland, living within the framework of the great Republic of many nations and faiths. He thanked those present for their significant contributions to the development of the Homeland and expressed his gratitude for their service to humanity.
During the meetings at the Presidential Palace, Metropolitan Sawa of Warsaw and all Poland was represented by: Archbishop Jerzy of Wrocław and Szczecin, Orthodox Military Bishop, and Archpriest Andrzej Lewczak.
