The Prime Minister of Greece Kyriakos Mitsotakis met today with Pope and Patriarch Theodore II of Alexandria and All Africa, at the Maximos Mansion.
During the meeting, they reviewed issues concerning the ancient Greek Orthodox Patriarchate of Alexandria and discussed the challenges within its jurisdiction. They also emphasized the significance of the Patriarchate’s role in promoting Hellenism and Orthodoxy in Africa.
The Prime Minister reiterated the government’s unwavering support for the Patriarchate’s mission.
