Metropolitan Markos of Chios had a meeting today, Wednesday, May 29, with Archbishop Elpidophoros of America.
The two chief priests remembered their parallel ministry as Chief Secretaries of the Ecumenical Patriarchate and the Church of Greece, as well as their presence and participation at the ordination of each other.
They also referred to issues of the Greek expats from Chios in the United States, who play an important role in the work of the Archdiocese of America and whom the new Archbishop expects to meet.
