Lieutenant Commander HCG Charalambos Angelopoulos was warmly welcomed by Archbishop Elpidophoros of America at the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America headquarters yesterday, September 17, 2024, for an introductory meeting.
Captain Angelopoulos is the newly appointed Head of Maritime Attache in New York for the Consulate General of Greece in New York.
Archbishop Elpidophoros of America welcomed also Fr. Peter Orfanakos to the Archdiocese headquarters.
Fr. Orfanakos was recently elected as the President of the Archdiocesan Presbyters Council.
The mission of the APC is to serve the clergy of the Archdiocese by supporting our priests through spiritual growth, educational development, and personal wellness.
This mission is accomplished through retreats, continuing education, brother-to-brother outreach, ministry development, clergy family care, and benevolence.
Fr. Orfanakos serves the parish of St. Barbara in Orange, CT.
