The Prime Minister of Lithuania, Inga Ruginienė, met today with the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew.
The Government of Lithuania has reaffirmed its commitment to religious freedom and respect for faith traditions, following a public statement by the Prime Minister emphasizing the country’s long-standing constitutional and cultural principles in this area.
In the statement, the Prime Minister of Lithuania, Inga Ruginienė, underscored that respect for religious diversity and freedom of faith are enduring values in Lithuania:
