The 34th Annual Leadership 100 Conference closed with the Hierarchical Divine Liturgy at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Greater Orlando on Sunday, February 23, 2025.
Archbishop Elpidophoros of America presided over the service assisted by Metropolitan Sevastianos of Atlanta, National Chancellor of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America Bishop Nektarios of Diokleia, Chancellor of the Archdiocesan District Fr. Elias Villis, Proistamenos of Holy Trinity Fr. Constantine Simeonidis, Associate priest Fr. Kyriakos Hambos and Archdeacon Dionysios Papiris. Also present were Metropolitan Nicholas of Detroit, Leadership 100 Chairman Demetrios Logothetis, Executive Director of Leadership 100 Paulette Poulos, members of Leadership 100, and the faithful of Holy Trinity Church.
In his Homily the Archbishop thanked the community for their hospitality and stated, “I am so happy to be at this wonderful Holy Trinity parish of Greater Orlando – a fitting endpoint to attending the Annual Leadership One Hundred Conference. Many Leadership members are with us today, and their presence reminds us that our Archdiocese stretches across the American landscape and encompasses a spiritual family much larger than any local community.” Immediately following services, the Philoptochos Society prepared a delicious luncheon to welcome guests from across the country.
Held the previous evening, the Grand Banquet celebrated the honored guests with the presentation of awards by Archbishop Elpidophoros, Mr. Logothetis and Ms. Poulos, to ABC News Correspondent Alexis Christoforous, Sr. Neuroscience Specialist and Author of “From Struggle to Strength” Harry Psaros, and Founder, President & Executive Director of The Loukoumi Make a Difference Foundation Nick Katsoris. (Col. Matthew Bogdanos received his award earlier in the week.)
