Kimberly Guilfoyle was officially sworn in at the U.S. Department of State on Monday afternoon, formally assuming her duties as U.S. Ambassador to Greece. She is the first woman to hold this position.
Among those present at the ceremony were Michael Rigas, Deputy Secretary of State for Management and Resources; Michael Kratsios, White House Chief Technology Officer; Christos Marafatsos, President of “Greeks for Trump”; as well as the son of the new ambassador.
During the swearing-in ceremony, it was emphasized that Ambassador Guilfoyle’s mission will be to promote the interests of the United States and to further strengthen cooperation with Greece, a close NATO ally.
