Due to the closure of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre and the ongoing war situation in the Holy Land, the Service of the Small Compline and the Second Stasis of the Salutations to the Most Holy Theotokos were held at the Church of Saints Constantine and Helen in Jerusalem.
The service was presided over by Metropolitan Hesychios of Capitolias.
It is recalled that the Church of the Holy Sepulchre remains closed for security reasons, as the situation in Israel remains extremely tense following the joint attack launched on Saturday, 28 February, together with the United States against Iran—an escalation that has led to a widening of the conflict in the Middle East.
