It is bad and forbidden to believe in luck.
If luck makes someone good or evil, then why do you advise and instruct your children?
Everything will go to waste. If luck makes the rich and the poor, then there is no need for education, nor for struggles to gain money. If there is no God, Who oversees everything, then there would be no order and harmony, that is, without His providence. If there is no God, how did all this happen? And if God exists, how does He overlook them? If He is the One –as it happens– Who created the universe, then beware of disrespect and blasphemy!
If there is luck, there is no judgment.
If there is luck, there is no faith.
If there is luck, there is no God.
If there is luck, there is no virtue.
If there is luck, there is no harm.
If there is luck, we do everything unfairly and endure it in vain.
It is to admire the Wise, Righteous and Loving Providence of the Almighty God and our Father.
Our heart should fill with gratitude and trust to the Almighty God and Creator of the world.
It is the faith that must make us strong and determined so that we can move on the path of virtue. She is the one who gives us strength, not to bend to the difficulties of life, trials and sorrows.
The Divine Providence is for all the creatures on Earth.
Saint Ioannis Chrysostomos
