Deputy Minister of Education, Sofia Zacharaki, received an invitation by the President of the Greek Community in Alexandria, Edmondos Kasimatis, to visit the Greek schools of Tositseio (elementary school) and of Averofio (Middle and High School).
After the consecration of the Church of Saints Konstantinos and Eleni in Cairo, the President of the Greek Community welcomed the Deputy Minister of Education in Egypt and talked to her about the issues concerning the Greek schools in Alexandria.
Sofia Zacharakis was interested in those issues and therefore she promised to respond to the invitation as soon as possible in order to visit the Greek Schools located in Shatby, a neighbourhood in Alexandria.
He also briefed the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Kostas Alexandris, on the same issue.
