The Interreligious Council of Albania (KNFSH) has reiterated its official stance regarding the draft law “On Gender Equality,” emphasizing once again the importance of preserving the core values of family, moral tradition, and Albanian social heritage.
In a statement released on social media, the Council affirmed that it “remains steadfast in its position, as clearly outlined in the letter and declaration previously sent to the relevant institutions.” The message highlights the need to uphold the principles of religious faiths “in a spirit of respect, equality, and mutual understanding.”
The Interreligious Council expressed its continued commitment to open dialogue and cooperation with state institutions and civil society, with the aim of strengthening interfaith harmony and building a just, equal, and sustainable society.
“May God bless Albania and all its citizens!” the message concluded, signed by the Presidential Board of the Council.
