The International Conference dedicated to the memory of the late Archbishop of Albania, Anastasios, concluded its third day at the Holy Monastery of Saint Vlasios in Durrës. The conference is held under the theme: “Greatness in doing and teaching” (Matthew 5:19).
The conference concluded today, while on Sunday, January 25, 2026, the day marking his repose, a concelebrated hierarchical Divine Liturgy and memorial service will be held at the Cathedral of Tirana.
The International Scientific Conference is organized by the Department of Theology and Culture of the University College “Logos” and forms part of the commemorative events marking one year since the repose of the late hierarch. The aim of the conference is the scholarly examination and highlighting of the multifaceted personality, theological work, and missionary contribution of Archbishop Anastasios, who left an indelible mark on the Orthodox Church and on Albanian society.
