Humility is perfection of Christian life

Humility is perfection of Christian life

How do we know if we are living according to God’s will or not?

Here is the answer. If you are upset about anything, it means that you did not rely completely on the will of God, even though it seems that you did. One who lives according to the will of God, they do not grieve for anything! When one seeks to meet a need than they start begging God. If they do not get what he asks for, they stay calm and meek as if they got what they wanted. The soul that relies on the will of God is not afraid of anything. They are not afraid of threats or robbers and talk about everything that happens to them:
“That was the will of God.” Even in the case of a disease, a peaceful human being thinks that the disease will help in something and that it will be useful to me for something, otherwise, God would not have sent it. This is how we remain calm and peaceful.

Lord has created us and given us all a purpose to fulfil. Even the smallest leaf on this planet has a purpose to fulfil on earth. This same holds true for human beings too! However, we sometimes tend to disturb and impede God’s plan. We have the freedom to either accept His will or reject it. God, who is full of love, does not want to take away freedom from us. God gave us freedom but we often crave the thing that is of no use and, therefore, we tend to walk into crazy situations.
We cannot reach salvation without making up our mind that we have to change our way of thinking. Our mind is deified by the peculiar energy of God’s grace. We tend to become indifferent. However, a godly mind lives unceasingly in the memory of God. Knowing that God lives within us and we within Him, then our mind becomes familiar with God. God is ubiquitous and we are like fish in the water when we live according to God’s will. But our spirit vanishes when we abandon God spiritually.

Humility is a Divine property; it is the perfection of the Christian life. One can become humble through obedience. One who is not obedient cannot be humble. There are few people in the world who are truly obedient. Humility is equivalent to our obedience.
