This donation will be allocated exclusively to strengthening the Archdiocese’s Social Services, particularly in supporting individuals and families experiencing domestic violence.
With this initiative, the Foundation reaffirms its commitment to supporting and assisting with sensitive social issues that require immediate and effective intervention.
The cheque was presented at a special meeting at the Holy Archdiocese on Friday, November 14, 2025, by Geena Grigoriadis and George Keroglidis. The Foundation’s representatives stated: “Domestic violence is a silent crisis that affects people of all ages. With this donation, we aim to strengthen the services that offer safety, support, and hope to those in need.”
The representative of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Canada Bishop Athenagoras, added: “We express our heartfelt gratitude to the Hellenic Heritage Foundation for their tangible solidarity and support. This contribution will significantly aid our efforts to protect and empower vulnerable members of society.”
