Today, on Saturday, May 11, 2024, the Holy Theological School of Halki welcomed a delegation of fifty professors and students from the School of Theology at the University of Athens. Led by Professor Marios Koukounaras Liagis, they participated in the Divine Liturgy held at the school’s church.
Following the Divine Liturgy, the pilgrims were warmly welcomed into the Great Synodikon of the School by the Abbot, Bishop Kassianos of Arabissos. In his address, he provided insights into the rich history and significance of the institution. Subsequently, the professors and students were given a tour of the historic classrooms and the esteemed Library of the School.
Moreover, Bishop Kassianos graciously received additional groups of visitors during the day, including members from the Thessaloniki Theatre Group and representatives from the University of Marmara, led by Professor Ekrem Topuz.
