On Lazarus Saturday, during a baptismal Divine Liturgy, eleven of our brothers and sisters were received into the Orthodox Church through the holy Sacraments of Baptism and Chrismation.
Following the Divine Liturgy, a reception was held, during which all attendees had the opportunity to congratulate and welcome the newly-illumined, and to offer them their best wishes for a life pleasing to God as they walk the path toward the Kingdom of Heaven until the end of their days.
That same afternoon, a group baptism of six catechumens was also celebrated at the Church of the Apostle Paul in the city of Incheon.
It is our hope and prayer that the number of believers continues to increase, “so that the word of the Lord may run swiftly and be glorified” (1 Thessalonians 3:1) throughout Korean society.
