President of the Hellenic Republic Konstantinos Tasoulas received UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador for the Protection and Promotion of CultureCostantza Sbokou-Constantakopoulou.
During the meeting, Sbokou-Constantakopoulou briefed President Tasoulas on the initiatives and activities she has undertaken as part of her mission to promote Greek culture and cultural heritage internationally.
Particular attention was given to the upcoming meeting of UNESCO Goodwill Ambassadors, scheduled to take place in Athens on September 10, 2026.
The program will include, among other events, a discussion on “Artificial Intelligence and Culture” at the Temple of Olympian Zeus. A fundraising dinner will also be held in support of UNESCO’s cultural fund, with the aim of contributing to efforts to combat the illicit trafficking of cultural property.
President Tasoulas expressed his support for the initiatives and wished every success for the upcoming event in Athens.
