Key issues concerning the support of Mount Athos and broader matters affecting the Holy Community were discussed during a meeting between Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and a three-member delegation from the Holy Community of Mount Athos.
According to an informal briefing from the Prime Minister’s press office, the discussion focused on strengthening the monastic peninsula and addressing current concerns raised by the monastic representatives.
Prime Minister Mitsotakis also expressed his intention to visit the monastic republic of Mount Athos in early July.
