The Greek Minister of Development and Investments, Takis Theodorikakos, met with Archbishop Elpidophoros of America in New York, concluding his visit to the United States.
During the meeting, Theodorikakos briefed His Eminence on the content and outcomes of the contacts he held in the United States with senior government officials, focusing on the further strengthening of the strategic relationship between Greece and the United States, as well as on the promotion of important initiatives and investments in key productive sectors of the Greek economy.
Archbishop Elpidophoros, for his part, referred to the work of the Archdiocese and to its ongoing efforts to promote unity, cohesion, and progress within the Greek-American community, emphasizing the continued support of the Greek diaspora for Greece and the Greek people.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Minister of Development received the Archbishop’s blessing and festive wishes ahead of Christmas, expressing his appreciation for the role of the Church as a point of reference for Greeks abroad and as a bridge that consistently connects Greece with the Greek diaspora in the United States.
