Greek Foreign Minister, Nikos Dendias, posted on Twitter that he had informed his EU counterparts about Turkey’s decision to convert Hagia Sophia into a mosque.
“I informed my colleagues about Turkey’s provocative decision, against world cultural heritage and UNESCO, to annul Kemal Ataturk’s 1934 decree for the protection of Hagia Sophia, by which it was turned into a museum,” he said.
