The Greek Foreign Affairs Ministry expressed solidarity to US people and the US administration, on the 20th anniversary of the terrorist attacks in the World Trade Center’s Twin Towers in the city of New York on September 11, 2001, in social media on Saturday.
The Ministry posted on social media: “Today we stand in solidarity with our American friends and allies in remembering the victims of the horrific terrorist attacks of September 11.
Twenty years on, we honor their memory and stand united in our collective moral duty to never forget and to continue to defend freedom and democracy.”

Greek FM: We continue to stand by our partners and allies in the fight against terrorism
Greek Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikos Dendias sent his own message on social media:
