The Greek Community of Cairo will establish a higher education institute in cooperation with the Business College of Athens (BCA) and the International School of Athens (ISA). The Greek Community aims at establishing Departments of Shipping, Tourism and IT as well as International Primary and Secondary School.
This initiative will create new jobs and, at the same time, it will contribute to the development of its real estate, as this program further upgrades its existing facilities, which will house the premises of the educational institutions at the Spetseropoulos Foundation. The Foundation houses Achillopouleios School and Cairo’s Ampetios School.
The language of instruction will be English, while the curriculum will fall within the responsibility of BCA and ISA, and it will be in line with the general framework of the Egyptian Ministry of Higher Education (for post-secondary education) and Education (for primary and secondary education).
According to the announcement, special attention shall be paid to the entry of Greek Egyptians so that they are eligible for reduced or even free tuition fee.
